Went to a Dine Out Vancouver dinner at Five Sails at the Pan Pacific Hotel. $38 for 3 courses. Service was great. The food was good but could've been better. Here are some pics. I didn't use the flash, so these aren't the greatest photos, but you can get the gist of it.

Open ravioli with prawn and scallop and chervil foam, whatever that is. The scallop was overcooked.

Salmon on top of saffron crab chowder. Sauce was tasty but the salmon was overcooked, which kind of ruined it for me.

Apple tarte tatin with caramel ice cream. There's a swirly web of caramel on top of the apple pie. Meh. This one was all style, no substance.
